Redesigning three book covers to be released as a series

The idea behind this project was to redesign the covers of 3 books belonging to Torque Editions so that they could be easily recognised as part of a series. As you can see from the image of the previous covers, they couldn’t look more opposite if they tried so to link them together I needed to find something they all had in common.

As all 3 books are centred heavily around technology, I decided it would be great to use this as the connecting feature. Images drawn onto a low-resolution document meant that they came out pixelated and ‘inspired’ by this form of technology. This design makes it very easy to add more books to the series in the future- each book will have its own unique illustration on the front cover in a new colour but keeping in the same style and font as the rest.
